At Ragamuffins we have been celebrating #NAW2025 and this year’s theme ‘Skills for Life’! This week has been about showcasing how apprenticeships empower individuals with the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to build successful and rewarding careers.
At Ragamuffins we champion our Apprentices, and National Apprenticeship Week is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the impact they have within our teams and on the lives of the young children they nurture everyday.
This week we have thanked our Apprentices for their dedication to their roles, highlighting the integral part they play in helping us to continue to build on our highly skilled and dedicated teams.
We asked our Apprentices, “how are you making a difference in the nursery?”
“Trying to bring joy and fun into the setting” (Kitti, Level 3 Apprentice)
“My experience as both a practitioner and a Mum help me to help others” (Lorna, Level 3 Apprentice)
“Using my knowledge to support other Apprentices” (Miah, Level 3 Apprentice)
“Working with my team to help the children learn in a safe and happy environment” (Alissa, Level 2 Apprentice)
“I am helping the staff in the nursery and giving new ideas” (Grace, Level 2 Apprentice)
Do you have what it takes to become an Apprentice?
At Ragamuffins we love what we do. If you think that you could make a difference to the lives of young children, an Apprenticeship could be perfect for you.
We work in close partnership with both Shaping Lives (Childcare Apprenticeships | Paragon Skills) and Aspiration Training (Early Years | Childcare Apprenticeships – Aspiration Training) to deliver the highest quality Apprenticeships.
P.s Don’t just take our word for it, here are some of the wonderful things our Apprentices had to say!
“Doing my apprenticeship and working at Ragamuffins has been the best decision that I have made. The support from qualified and even unqualified staff is beyond amazing! I always feel I have someone or somewhere to go to if I need any help.” (Grace, Level 2 Apprentice)
“Being an apprentice for Ragamuffins has been a wonderful experience. All the staff members are lovely and working with them has been a pleasure. The children are amazing and being able to create a bond with them all has been such a privilege.” (Liz, Level 2 Apprentice)
“My apprenticeship and working at Ragamuffins have been incredible and really enjoyable. I love seeing the team and the children every day but also seeing and encouraging their development is amazing. Being able to have a hands-on experience really helps me to learn and remember new information.” (Carly, Level 2 Apprentice)
